The Ashe County Arts Council turns 30!

On Friday, June 13th from 5pm to 8pm, the Arts District in Downtown West Jefferson

will come alive with folks strolling the streets.

Gallery Crawl of the season!

Arts lovers will find on the streets of West Jefferson one of a kind paintings, photography, pottery, stained glass, quilts, fibersarts, jewelry woodturned art and more. Crawlers are invited to stroll the streets, view the downtown murals, see the art panels in Jefferson Station, enjoy the downtown restaurants and

visit the galleries.

The June Crawl will feature strolling musicians, gallery exhibits, special artists, refreshments and in-store promotions.

Coffee House Talent Night

Saturday, June 14  7:30

The featured line-up will include:

The Steel Magnolias, Ashe County's favorite female quartet and MCs for the evening; Lisa Baldwin and Dave Haney, acoustic folk duo performing original songs, bluegrass, traditional music; Kay Borkowski and Michael Bell performing on flulte and piano; and Anna Lankford and Deeper Roots, a one of a kind contemporary mountain folk music group.

Admission at the door is $8 adults and $5 students.
