Gallery Crawl offers an opportunity for visitors to see the downtown murals and listen to strolling street musicians. Street performers include:  Michael Bell, performing a wide variety of piano selections at The Originals Only Gallery; Scot Pope, and guitar at Bohemia Gallery; Donna Lamm performing on piano at the Ashe Arts Center; the New River Chordsmen, singing barbershop quartet favorites in traditional four part harmony; Sonny Remington original songs with guitar and vocals; Connie Wollard, hammered dulcimer, guitar, and penny whistle tunes; Mandy Wright and Kilby Spencer performing traditional music on guitar, fiddle and banjo; Randy and Deborah Jean Sheets with guitar, fiddle and vocals; and Ruth and Steve Smith, duo from Watauga County playing guitar and dulcimer favorites.
