It’s Coffee House time again!  Everyone’s favorite evening of local entertainment, food and fun will be held Saturday, August 16.  Showtime is 7:30 p.m. in the

West Jefferson Methodist Church Hensley Hall.

Featured entertainers include:  The Yazoo Sisters, performing three-part harmony jazz vocals of the 1930s Boswell Sisters, backed up on keyboard and "bull fiddle" by Tommy Whittle and Mark Rose, The Elkville String Band playing traditional songs and ballads of the Blue Ridge along with a little Gospel and Bluegrass, and

Crys Darden, a blues and rhythm and blues performer from Boone

Coffee, tea, soft drinks and the Arts Council’s famous desserts will compliment the evening.  Admission at the door is $8 for adults and $5 for students.  Join the Arts Council for a night of entertainment and fun you won’t forget!
